Your CV
A well presented CV will ensure that your abilities are given a fair chance. Here are some guidelines to help avoid basic errors:
Give your CV a clear layout and concise text
Avoid the temptation to use unusual fonts or other gimmicks to stand out
Begin with contact details, then include qualifications and past employment with the most recent job first.
Use bullet points to detail your duties in each role and avoid being long winded
Do not lie or over inflate your experience
Your CV is the first impression to clients - spelling or grammatical errors will do a great deal of damage so make sure you check its contents before sending it out
Interview Preparation
An interview with a potential employer is the first opportunity you will have to make a positive impression and present a more in-depth view of your experience to follow-up from your CV. We appreciate it might have been some time since you were last interviewed and the more preparation you are able to put into the process, the more you and the client will benefit from it.
We have prepared a list of questions that you may be asked and that you in turn may like to ask clients to help you focus on the appropriate answers.
