Agencies are too expensive.
Yes, you're right, some are! That's why we charge a flat, uncomplicated
fee of only 12.5% of annualised salary for the candidates we place
within your organisation. Of course, we want to be a profitable
company but we also want to be an honest one that will truly offer
a cost effective solution to your needs. You won't need to revisit
our terms for each position we deal with, as this fee applies to
all salaries we deal with:- it's clear, simple and highly competitive.
I've already advertised.
We appreciate if you've advertised your position you're going to want to see the response you get. However, an element of our recruitment service is purely for this situation - CV Screening. We can handle the response from the advertisement, charging a day rate rather than a placement fee. This enables all the candidates to receive a quick and professional recruitment service which enhances your reputation in the market and ensures you catch the good candidates before they move onto the next advert. It's a fast moving market out there at the moment and by the time your schedule allows you to sift through the responses, some of those candidates might have been snapped up.
Also with advertising, you've no guarantee. Employing L&K for your recruitment gives you the opportunity to see the calibre of our candidates before you pay us a penny. Even when you employ a candidate through us, you have a further 8 weeks of comfort to know your money will be refunded should something go wrong.
I've got a Preferred Supplier List in place.
That's fantastic that you've taken such a pro-active approach to your recruitment needs. All we can ask is that you allow us to build a relationship with you in order that we might be considered when you re-tender your business or in the event that your existing agencies are unable to assist. Through our innovative marketing, we are working with candidates other agencies are unable to attract and they are working with L&K exclusively. They won't be available through your PSL and it's the right candidate you're looking for at the end of the day isn't it? I've had a bad experience with agencies.
We're sorry to hear this but that doesn't mean one bad experience (or possibly several!) is indicative of the service you'll receive from the industry as a whole. Every business sector has those that let its reputation down so at L&K we work especially hard to overcome this and remove the myths from recruitment to present a clear and effective alternative to securing your staff. This is always an interesting one. L&K spend each and every day working within the local candidate market:- understanding its ever-changing demographics, its movements and the driving forces behind those looking for work. We talk to people searching for jobs every day and, in turn, talk to all their friends and family who are searching as well. It's a pro-active rather than re-active approach and that's why we're always uncovering the candidates other sources don't find. Its timesaving for our clients in that we can recommend or find candidates for them quicker than they will be able to, and with the strength of reputation we are continuing to build amongst the candidate market, this will only continue to grow as one of our assets.
